What Is Cold-Pressed?

 “Cold-Pressed” describes the method of juice-making.  Rather than using a “centrifugal” juice extraction process (which most conventional juicers do), we extract juice through the tremendous pressure exerted by a hydraulic press, 9,000 lbs to be exact. Maximal amounts of natural fruit sugars, vitamins, trace minerals, enzymes, and other vital elements are preserved. This imparts to the juice an extremely fine quality and flavor which is unequaled by any other method of juice extraction.

Dr. Norman Walker a pioneer in raw food and a juicing advocate, created the Norwalk press in 1934 – the first juicer ever created. Dr. Walker, who juiced daily with his machine, lived to be a healthy and vibrant 99 years old.
